W4r-D3N in Friendship Gulag IS UNBEATABLE!!!!!!!

I have to save Roland in Friendship Gulag and need to defeat the robot, but I keep dying over and over again! Now i have done my own research and tried to find ways to beat the robot but nothing is working. It also doesnt help that i picked Zero, i though he looked cool and i like being playing sniper in FPS games. No matter how much I do to W4R-D3N it beats me! It has this orange sheild taht keeps healing the sheilds, and robits are spawning everywhere! It is driving me crazy! I also found a sniper rifle that appears to do extra damage to robots, but its still not enough. Im currently at level 14, so should i just grind and do sidequests until im strong enough to defeat it? Also could anyone please add me as a friend so u can all help me defeat the robot? I desperatly need help and I am very frustrated!!!!!!!!!

Update: I did some sidequests involving that fire cult and i leveled up to 15. After that I used my best rifle against the robot, kicked it's ass, and saved Roland! Thank you all for your help and advice!

farm tesla 0 fuse from wendors farm corrosive sniper and shot in that red spot its very easy..trow couple tesla on him and use sniper dosent even need to be corrosive on normal

The W4R-D3N is not unbeatable.

Yes, doing a few side quests will help. The side quests themselves are optional, but the experience you gain from them is not. You will need to do some to stay on-level with the main story. The way the game mechanics work if you're under leveled (which you are (a bit)) you do less damage (than you would against a same-level enemy) and your enemies do more.

Zer0 is probably one of the most deadly chararacters, but .. he can be a bit fragile.

Get a Corrosive weapon to deal with the Loaders. Shoot the W4R-D3N in his eye, (but NOT when he has that orange shield up). Watch out for the Surveyors, watch out for the EXP-Loaders. If the W4R-D3N launches Surveyors, they'll heal him, so take them out as soon as possible.

Make sure your weapons are on level, underleveled weapons won't help you either. Using an on-level weapon is more important than what color (rarity) it is.

I remember the 1st time I had to save Roland. For me, the whole area was a big pain in the "gulliver". After dying, I wound up using my Golden Keys, & got a nice purple sniper rifle. Used all of my sniper bullets, & all of my grenades, but I got through it. In this game, it's all about the gear.

It took me a while but I eventually beat it. The trick is to hole up somewhere where there is cover from the missles (like behind a pillar), grab a smg, rifle, and revolver, and just keep spamming. Find three good positions with adequate cover and rotate between them. This was on zer0 with extremely low level btw since I was too lazy to do any of the side quests the first time around.

Also note that the loaders have different critical hit points. Take them out at the joints. Once I figured this out (it took an embarrassingly long time) beating Hyperion robots were easy. On my second run I was able to take down W4R-DEN within 2 minutes on the dam and I didn’t even need to go to the prison.

You need shock and corrosive weapons and to shoot him in the eye (the glowing red point), that's his weak point for criticals.This also interrupts him from constructing bots (as he is a special contructor after all)
Once his shield is gone switch to a corrosive weapon and continue. You can do it with shock too as it has no damage penalty against armor but corrosive have a damage multiplierbonus against it.
Try to do it as fast as possible as more and more bots will spawn, W4RD3N itself also can throw out constructor turrets that deal shock damage (meaning itt wil deplete your shield very fast), once he is beaten Roland will be released and he will assist you (well, he will draw aggro)

I've found that just dealing raw damage output is better than waiting for corrosive weapons to kick in and do something, Hell I've beaten W4R-D3N on the damn with a normal rocket launcher because of its damage output alone.

No green quality Jacobs is going to have a 21 round clip. A green quality Vladoff might have a 10-12 round clip, but a Jacobs is going to have a 4-6 round clip.

The only sniper that's going to have a 21 round clip would be a Lyuda, which is a legendary.

A shock sniper/assault rifle alone can end him rather quickly, provided you know where to shoot and shock deals full damage to armor.
He's not that hard if you have proper gear anyway, even on OP8

If you overlevel, quests become too easy.

Do some side missions, when your level is 3-4 levels above the enemy, it is a trivial challenge.
