The other DLC's? Can be done any time really. Tina's for the various 'magic' grenades and the mission Grog Nozzle. I generally start that DLC early in UVHM. The Torgue DLC is where you earn Torgue tokens that will let you buy Torgue gear from their vending machines, including the Torgue legendaries - Harold, Kerblaster. Flakker, Nukem etc. Start early.
Hammerlock has the Rough Rider, but it is farmable and since UVHM scales to you, no real reason to leave until later.
There is also the option to reset UVHM at any point and start all over again with your current level, gear etc. If you are not interested in doing the OP levels, you can reset when you get to 72, and then do a level 72 playthrough.
My level 28 slagged pimpernel helped till level 50~it even was my main tool to defeat warrior in tvhm
Maybe you need a bee shield in late 30s or early 40s so start dragon keep dlcs to farm treanants since hunter helliquist might not be available until late 40s
Some feel that a low level rough rider might be better for easy gating~normal hammerlock dlc
Also spell grenades like mm, chain lightning, etc helped due to regenerative properties since you probably don't have max sdu grenade in normal or tvhm
Your choice
Just bear in mind: You must complete the main story in each mode in order to unlock the next mode, and you want to start UVHM as close to 50 as possible.
If you do any DLC's in TVHM, just be aware of that. Skip some side missions so that you won't get over leveled.
