Does console says anything after you exec patch?
You'd better ask your question here:
https://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/t/unofficial-community-patch-thread/1557735
- If it appears in the ingame chat, you did something wrong with the installation.
- If it says that it can't find the file, then you wrote something wrong. I got mine to work when I simply wrote "exec patch".
- If nothing is happening after you use the command, it is likely that the patch is activated. You can easily find this out by starting a character and testing to see if you automaticly pick up eridium, or find loot you shouldn't be able to find early on (like sniper rifles before beating Flynt.
Thanks for the help i guess, i tried a new char when i typed in exec patch.txt in the console before and see if i could do anything like you said, auto pickup eridium and it dint, i dunno if the eridium was just sticky to the ground or what but it dint do it when i tried, today i tried and i got a grenade mod before knucckle dragger which i now know it has worked, i do not know why it dint work yesterday.
Download hexworkshop (this is where i download it) http://www.bpsoft.com/downloads/
then open it, click on files and search for Borderlands2.exe
then click ctrl+f and search for 83C40C85C0751A6A and change C0 to 00
then click ctrl+f and click on Hex Values and change it to Text String Unicode String Match Case and type in say (no uppercase) and change it all to 00.
Now it probably works (atleast with me it did)
