Shield parts

Hi guys!

I'm kinda new to BL2 and i'm getting curious what exactly some parts of shields do. Yes i have watched quite a few of vids explaining the ins and outs of what they do but i never knew this 1 thing Does a battery on a shield have to do with the recharge rate or delay of a shield? same goes for the body. Does it have to do with recharge rate or recharge delay?

All of the parts affect the shields capacity, recharge rate & delay aswell as the special effect.
The manufacturer of the individual parts determines by how much.

Sorry this is late! That link posted in the previous reply is actually not Shields but Weapon Par- oh, it says that.

Below is the Wikia page on shields, scroll down for BL2 and TPS. You'll get the standard "site warning" but that's just because a link on Steam is sending you outside Steam, not coz Wikia is suspect. :) Shield math's a bit complex (well, to me :P ) but the Wikia is generally very accurate.

Yes and it covers shields aswell. Did you take a look at it?
