Is there a way to mute Claptrap in game?
Maybe some kind of audio file I could possibly remove within my game files without having my game to crash, anything? I'll take suggestions.

LOL wait til you try him as a playable class in TPS! :steammocking:
so you don't have a 3 hour mix of music playing while gaming?

I want to hear the dialogues, excluding claptrap that is.

Amazingly and also annoyingly, there isn't a game option to mute him. He does have one or two amusing dialogues, but in general is just basically annoying. Especially in Sanctuary. Wub wub wub wub wub wub. Drop!
Very annoying. You can sometimes get him to sulk and shut up by asking him for a high five and then ignoring him.
The only benefit of playing him in TPS is that he doesn't need oxygen, which can come in handy on occasion. About the only benefit.

Honestly, I'm thinking about quitting Borderlands 2 for the pre-sequel. I'm just not having so much fun either. Yet, I still wonder why this specific game gets a higher amount of day to day players than the pre-sequel.

Sigh.

@Karma. The Pre-Sequel is very limited in size compared to BL2. The gameplay is a bit different due to lower gravity, airless environments, different weapons etc. and 5 new characters to play. Technically 6, but unless you want to be Claptrap, and embrace the whole claptrap-ness as trukr seems to have done (:grinsam:) there are 5 choices.
Also unfortunately for you is that the best DLC is Claptrap's Fantastic Voyage. I personally think it is the best in the entire franchise, and worth getting the game for by itself. That or Tiny Tina's.
It also does explain why claptrap is annoying, and what the whole wub wub wub is all about.

I can offer an opinion altho I'm sure others may disagree. The reason BL2 gets higher daily coop traffic than BL1 or TPS is it's easier to play in coop at the lower levels, has a more popular story / plot than the others, has the most attractive six playable classes to play and can be cooped pretty easily and quickly which some players care about. If you're a strictly solo player, BL2 (moreso TPS) can be pretty frustrating for the first half of the game through Normal and True modes - game didn't level with you until you hit around level 50+ in Ultimate mode but personally I think they've finally made progress integrating UVHM into the earlier game modes in TPS where the transition to Ultimate is starting to feel more natural.

Come on now z00t, we all know there is but one choice in TPS :claptrap: :claugh:

Yup. Athena. Or Willhelm. Or Aurelia. I did play a Claptrap for a while, but he ended up as something of a storage character. I am pretty much done with the whole game and unlikely to go back to it. Nice place to mess around in, but really not a whole lot to do when you are there. Way too many trivial afterthought missions for my liking.

No. And neither should there be.
