can i play coop with reshade graphics mod?

A graphics mod shouldn't have any effect on someone else's game, since what two players see could be very different. One could be playing with low FoV, and low detail, while the other is using high FoV and high detail.

graphics settings dont overwrite the game files in a way that graphics mods do

A graphics mod effects the graphics files, which is a separate entity entirely from files related to gameplay mechanics... A players graphics files load from their own PC, not the Hosts, it's obvious, lmao

Edit:
Think about FPS online multiplayer, and how some players can cheat by making walls invisible, only they can see it; of course on Steam VAC can detect this
