Digistruct Peak question about shortcuts

youtube has a video of someone dual rocket jumping from the first section of the peak across a wide expanse to the final section. Anyone know if this still works?

The lazy people who do that just want to get to the final boss, OMGWTH and get an easy pearl drop, at OP8.
I don't have a rocket jumping gunzerker, so I have no idea if it is still possible.

Gearbox patched many things like this but unless you provide a link to the YT vid we can't tell you for sure. Have fun

I just tried it using a trainer to get massive jumps. Yes it seams that the boss does not spawn when you jump there

I have done it using a trainer to increase the jump height. Go into the first area with enemies, then turn left then jump up on the rock face then jump down one level as seen in many previous videos. But the old videos have you rocket/grenade jumping onto the area where 010011110100110101000111010101110101010001001000 is. Instead jump to the area before this boss, i.e. to the left of this boss.

You will get an increased overpower level, you will have access to 3 + 2 chests, but once you go up the elevator, Tannis will say you failed the quest. I simply go back down the elevator or jump down then let the elevator crush me to death so I respawn with all my loot and the OP levels intact
