Lacking ammo while fighting Hyperius

So i unlocked Hyperius but each time i try killing his minions to get rid of the shield i spend a lot of ammo, is there any way i can get ammo while fighting hyperius?

upgrade ammo capacity at the black market or run away to a vending machine in the middle of the fight

If your zero bore them in a group any other hero logans gun and sham

use singularity grenade then bore the **** outa them

I recommend you get a corrossive E-tech rocket launcher (preferably a vladof), group up the minions with a singularity, then switch to a slag bouncing betty, slag them, then fire away. This will Make their shields activate allowing you to shoot Hyperius. Best to use a fire weapon when attacking Hyperius, and a relic (such as bone of the ancients) that boosts fire damage. Bee shield is also very helpful.

The vending machine is outside the arena, so you have to stock up before you enter, it is not possible to return until Hyperius is dead.
