Eridium Farming
Hi, what is/would be the best way to farm eridium on low level (level 10-20)?
I like to get a big storage space early on.

It's either just simply play the slotmachines at Moxxi's or doing the 'Pizza Road' below Bloodshot Stronghold (( = sidequest from Tannis, do it and then 'farm it' )) . Besides that, explore the crates in Sanctuary, esp in HQ and Scooter's Garage, thoroughly. Every now and then there are also 2-10 Eridium to find - for free.

Bad Maw is fast and easy eridium :D

Fast travel to bloodshot stronghold and go out to three horns valley and farm him, thats the fastest way :)

True, forgot about him, but i'd suggest to combine it with the 'Pizza Run' which often nets 4-20 as well.
Works best from about lvl 16 to quickly complete it and will level up a bit as well; plus having an extra chance of getting a quite nice 'golden' grenade mod down from the 'Turtles' ;-) .

If you have DLC, mulching Ancient Dragons of Destruction with OP gear (lvl 50 dragons vs lvl 72 you = you win). Gives about 80 ridz every time.

But the OP was asking about low level (10 - 20).

However I agree that Ancient Dragons give a lot of eridium for very little effort once you are really overleveled compared to them. I don't even wait until level 72. Once I hit Level 50, I go back to NVHM and farm the dragons until I have enough to max out all the upgrade slots.

It's better NOT to farm in normal mode. No matter how much you want the Eridium, it's better to finish Normal mode by 33ish at the latest.

There's NEVER enough space, not even after you buy all that's available. It's better to learn to discard the old stuff you're not going use any more. If you have something really good, that you can't bear to part with, then create a mule, and move it to that character.

You see what I'm saying?

You have to learn to think about it differently. There's never going to be enough, no matter how hard you work. So learn to let go.

The early eridium farm is for a mule actually, I just don't want a lot of mules but just a few so I like to get a fast and big storage on my mule.

I haven't heard about it, care to explain? Is that an extra place for storage or anything like that?

You're going to level a Mule up to 20ish? Well.. okay. If you're going to do that, I'd suggest farming BNK-3R.

Or playing the slot machines.

Well I'm just looking for a stable eridium farm for the lowest level possible. I tried the slot machine and bad maw but didnt get the result I was looking for. I'm gona try the "opening boxes" run in sanctuary and Southpaw Steam & Power. If that's not gona work I might try the bunker, but I wasnt really planning on leveling that high.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

true ,always open boxes and other things that are loot-able in sanctuary, cause i accidentally opened a locker from the raiders HQ and got a legendary from it , it was low level though but its a legendary ( lvl 16 analytical ♥♥♥♥♥)

Honestly ... mules are one of the few places where I do indeed turn to the save editor. While I understand why the devs chose to limit storage space, I still think they were excessively harsh (especially for mules).

So... if you're comfortable using a save editor for something like that, then that's an option too.
