Sal and Krieg can make good use of the Rough Rider.
What are the best Blockade parts?
You kind of need to find the right combination of parts that works dor you and your build.
Bandit parts are pretty decent in all stats.
Obviously anything that has a negative value on Special will work okay-well with the blockade since it lacks a special function.
Also since you're level 72 you could check out the Hoplite, while it does have a speed penalty, Axton for example can use Onslaught to compensate for that and with Quick Charge he can regen the Shield faster than DoTs can eat trough it.
The Antagonist. For when you are bored of / can't use the bee. If you're of limited skill (like myself) this is almost a must-have for Digistruct, or maps with way too many bullet slinging baddies.
Given you are looking for defensive, try the Antagonist. Not got much experience with the Blockade but it gets good feedback here.
