Hiw the ♥♥♥♥ do you avoid pyro peets AOE?
So im trying pyro pete on UVHM with my 72 gunzerker.. im even trying to cheese him by grenade jumping into the rafters... but he jumps after me too!!

I evwn had him locked into a texture that he couldnt move out of and i was sitting on the exact opposite side of the ring but his AOE attack was still reaching me.

How the hell do you avoid that attack? It gets to the poibt where even if im healing myself via the ruby i havw. The byrn damage gets too much when his health is half. And by that tine ive used the pioes too much where the mobs have too much health to kill too.

I dobt k ow what im doing wrong.

Before you ask im on a ps4. I hate the plsystation forums.
Im also using a cellphone and refuae to fught with auto correct

i was exactly where this guy was at 1:22, only pete jumps ontop of the thing and chases me, instead of glitching into anything.

You can wash off the dots. Turn one of the valves and step through the water. You'll spawn in a few rats or spiderants depending on which of the two you chose.

Avoid Dots completely. No glitches and exploits required.

what you need to do is to break Line of Sight and for that any obstacle will do, even the tiny legs on the scaffoldings. The large cylinders opposite end of map have some weird hitboxes and you can sometimes find cover when you wouldnt expect it there.

I would use a Grog Nozzle if I were you. Heals you A LOT more than the Ruby would, Ruby is not bad but Grog is simply better.
Having a fire or corrosive resistant shield will help out a lot too. If you have both, you can switch back and forth if you want I suppose. Having one will mean that you only have to avoid the one that you don't have resistance too. I have found that taking one DoT is somewhat maneageable if you have a beefy shield that it has to eat through it.

There's something wrong with your Sal, if you're having trouble with Pete.

You can't crit Pete as long as he wears his helmet. Use a trespasser to shoot the helmet off, then switch to your standard setup and crit the sh*t out of him. Meanwhile throw Stormfront/Teslas, it will heal you and help strip his shield

What Fredericks of Cursewood said: I use an evolution, but any good adaptive will do. Or any shield with 'grants immunity to..' *Dont use a bee*. You dont need it and Sal is terrible with the bee anyways.

Asbestos is your friend. Handy enough, that chaotic evil com boosts asbestos and crit damage.

and this is where the Neogenator and/or Evolution shields come into play
This doesn't apply to Sal but rather Gaige. Made of Sterner Stuff increases her Fire Resistance to 50% for first point and then a 5% increase for every other point after that. I had 6/5 in that skill and then a Blue Rarity Turtle with corrode resist shield that I probably got from the loot train. I don't normaly use Buck Up, but I think DT probably would have kept me from getting any damage from the DoTs. The way it was, it would take a fairly long time for the Fire Dot to eat through the shield that I could take my sweet time to get to the shower even.
