Opinions on BL2: The Handsome Collection?
So i’ve played countless hours of BL2 on my PC and only later realized that there was this Handsome Collection released for current-gen consoles that besides the Pre-Sequel includes a staggering amount of content (all DLC that's ever been released for the game). I’ve read some reviews of it and they mentioned bugs and framerate slowdowns (they were from when the the game was just released so maybe some of it has been ironed out by now). You who have played both versions, how does it stack up to the PC version both graphically and in terms of gameplay?

So I was just playing the Handsome Collection only cause I got it 3 years ago and never got around to touching it, played it finally for a couple hours and realized I just can't do fps's with a controller anymore, and splurged for the PC version. Controls aside they seem almost identical, though in the PS4 version you do get the cool controller speaker function and it comes with the Headhunter expansions all the dozens of .99-cent skins that don't come with the GOTY version here but oh well. Oh and of course you have to pay to play online on consoles so I never did that there.
A Must-Buy.

And all the DLC for both BL2 (Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and so on..) and the Pre-Sequel for the price of 14 bucks, that's pretty good.

Who plays video-games on consoles anyways? Except if it's Halo, thats the only exception.

Conditioning? Comfort? Because you can? There's a multitude of reasons to do so. Maybe you've played too many competitive twitch shooters vs ritalin fuelled kids and that's why you feel compelled to make these odd comments.

Borderlands 2 and Pre-Sequel on PS4 at 60 fps locked is fine for me. Your argument is invalid.

OP I've never played The Handsome Collection but I've played all three BL games with all dlcs on console and on pc and there's very little difference in content. Traditionally GBX develops for console and ports to pc. I prefer all gameplay on pc but that's me - I have no attitude problems with console gaming and take issue with obnoxious clowns with superiority complexes who put it down. Their arguments are boring and specious. I really couldn't care less how the rest of the world prefers its video games. All of it's just entertainment ... .

Is this related to anything the OP mentioned? It just seems like an ad for some random guy's YouTube boring profile page.

Now that i've played the console version of the game for a couple of hours i can definetly say that it looks sharper on my PC (i'm down sampling the game from 1440P so there's no jaggies, somethiong the console version suffers from abit). Besides that it runs great on my PS4 Pro and the gameplay works great with a controller. Since i played so much of the PC-version i thought that playing the game with a controller was going to feel strange but that has been a non issue, i think this is mainly because the framrate is so steady in PS4 version. The biggest reason i bought the game on PS-Store was mainly the price though, 14 bucks for two games with all the DLC. That would have cost me alot more if i bought it here on Steam. So all in all, i'm happy with it :)
