Fast travel at Caustic Caverns & The Fridge

Hey guys,
I have an issue with the two fast travel stations at the locations in the title.
The issue is;
I get there through normal play and can see them....even use them to travel to anywhere else. But.....they don’t show up on the map until I die in the area. After that, everything is fine for the remainder of the game.
Any idea what’s causing it and is it happening to anyone else?

Same here.
Walk a few steps away from the station and come back then it will show you the station on the map.
BTW: Same happens at Arid Nexus Badlands.

That sucks. I wonder if it’s just a glitch in the PC version. I mean, the only real annoying thing is having to take the long way when you aren’t supposed to need to.
Ah well, extra ep is always a good thing.

I had never tried to use the fast travel in the fridge when first going there, later it was always there for me to get there. I use it when first getting there because I read something like this, and could not fast travel back. Once I got to Sanctuary it was available, no idea at what exact point it became available but it did. I have also found that if you work your way to Caustic Caverns before a mission takes you there, that fast travel acts the same, can go out but it's not on the map. Never noticed anything like that at Nexus Badlands.

It’s a glitch. It happens to me too sometimes. I always kill myself, and when I’m respawning, I save-quit. It should be avaiable for fast-travel. (You have to kill yourself very close to the Fast-Travel starion, because you have to respawn there)

Yeah. I figured that part out the hard way in Caustic Caverns. I went way deep into the map, died and respawned at a check point instead of the FTS. So I had to die again just outside the big double doors. Let the varkids do the job.

I get the same glitch for the Fridge as well, which is annoying as hell

Thanks for this. I've been to Caustic Caverns and Fridge without it happening.
But, haven't been to "Arid Texas Badlands," yet. If it happens I'll know why, and how to avoid it in the first place. (Must remember to walk a few steps away!)
