Finks Slaughterhouse WTF?!

How is this possible?! Iam LVL 40 (TVHM, Zero) and I always die at the 1st wave! And then this motherf***** Fink tells me Iam bad at this game. How is this sh*t even possible without friends?! And I payed money for this!? Gearbox, when this is just posible with friends, then tell me before I buy it! Any tips for the Slaughterdome in singleplayer??

What gear are you using? Make sure everything is relatively close to your level.

In general, learn where enemies will spawn and don't run into every encounter head first. You're going to have a bad time if you let yourself get surrounded. Retreat and take cover if necessary, be smart about where to deploy your decoy, use Transfusion grenades to heal up, prioritize target and always aim for crits to maximize your damage.

It's not that hard if you use the right gear. Zer0 tends to be quite hard in sloughter houses atleast in my opinion as he is a really squishy character. But if you have the right gear it's really easy. Meelee Zer0, sniper or anything works really if you know what you're doing

It isn't that hard, especially in the early rounds. I earned the Unseen Predator achievement there. Melee Zer0, first round completed, not a single shot fired. Very, very satisfying.
Much easier with guns, especially when the buzzards arrive later. Keep your distance, see what spawns and deal with the most dangerous first. There are a lot of suicide psychos and midgets who can really ruin your day. Shoot them when you see them. Running into the middle of the enemies when they spawn all around you is a recipe for Fail.

If you have been used to playing co-op, where the other team members share the work, and revive you when needed, your solo game skills do not develop as quickly. This game is entirely solo-able, level 1 to OP8. Nothing needs a co-op team to complete. It will be easier, but nothing requires it.

If you keep at it and keep making adjustments to tactics and gear, you will win eventually. This is probably the easiest slaughter, BTW.

its perfectly possible then you doing something wrong: using underleveld gear , bad build?

Here: sham (%age doesnt matter) or some other absorb shield, and a few hard hitting weapons of different types, cause you will tend to run out of ammo in Fink's. When the enemy wave appears, get everyone on one side of you, or at least get one group behind your cover while you deal with one mob. Dont get crossfired or surrounded. Weaken or kill as many as possible from a distance, use cover to close then finish, perhaps including one FFYL and revive. Dont miss too much or you'll run dry. Watch your minimap and keep moving to an advantageous position. Always try to use cover to cut off all but one enemy, whom you are to kill then pick another.

At first, I thought like the OP. But now I have successfully passed levels 1,2 and 3.
I play solo, with practice and the advice above by others you can do it. Actually I really like it now!

I failed miserably at first, but after a bit of thought, a bit of planning blah blah... I did it. Satisfying.

you also left out the Rat Thief (aka "Rat Bastard" on TVHM & higher), who's also just as dangerous/annoying
