Technically, Gaige is also part of that pack.

These days all that stuff is bundled into the GOTY version of the game.
None of those weapons (with the possible exception of the Sky Rocket) are useful past about level 3. If you don't want the advantage, just don't use them. Sell them when you get to Liarsberg. Scaling in this game is very aggressive, loot gets old, quickly. Those are weak, level one, white quality weapons, they're not going to make much difference.
I don't know if going to your DLC and deselecting the Premier Club works or not. I also don't understand the need for this thread when it is clear you have the option to drop the items on the ground and leave them behind.
With all due respect, why would that change anything?
You still have the options to drop, or sell those items.
Or just not use them.
Regardless of what sort of I/O you're using, you're over thinking the whole thing. Those items are a trivial blip on the screen meant only to ease the first 10 to 15 minutes of play.
I read twice, my bad.
But what I'd do is after Sir Hammerlock turns on the power, sell those starting items to any of those vending machines to get some money.
