Tier 3 Death race rematch required for achievement?

Wonder if the Tier 3 Death race rematch is required for the achievement for completing all optional quest achievement? Finally made it for the regular Tier 3 which i for once don't hit a single pixel invisible wall that throws the car to oblivion or stop by hitting air against the windshield....

i dont think you have to do the rematch just the normal tier 3

Regarding the Death Race - don't use the runner. The bandit technical with barrel launcher is better. Longer boost time, faster recovery and will not cause you to spin in a circle if you drive over a pebble. Ellie's Afterburner is useful too.

Tier 2 Battle: Appetite for Destruction
Tier 3 Battle: Appetite for Destruction
Tier 2 Battle: The Death Race
Tier 3 Battle: The Death Race

None of the Rematches are needed for this.

Nice thanks, i'll pray that there won't be any race missions in BL3 at least not if the driving mechanic is the same....may the lord or whatever god-tier entity there's is forbid that... ._.
