How is Krieg's "combat triangle" ideally supposed to work?

Blood Overdrive: At max, using a bullet to kill an enemy gives 250% melee damage. Doesn't work with the rampage, as far as I can tell? The skill only lasts a few seconds, so by the time Krieg hulks out then the kill skill will have ended. I guess it's intended to be used outside of the rampage, but then you're just... losing out on another 600% damage boost, which you can get for free via RtB?

Fuel the Blood: At max, gives double(?) grenade damage. Again, it only lasts a few seconds, so by the time the rampage begins or ends, the skill will have ended; so presumably it's intended to be used outside of the rampage. Non-rampaging Krieg is a LOT weaker, though. I think that adding dynamite to your buzzaxe counts as grenade damage, though, so this one would at least boost your rampage's DPS, right? And I assume that it also buffs Bloodsplosion's explosive damage, but again, I'm not sure.

Blood Bath: Killing with explosions gives 2.5x weapon damage. That's easy enough with a fastball on a weakened enemy. But then, do I have to use a bullet gun, or can guns like e-tech or Torgue get the 2.5x bonus? I have a DPUH, but I'm not sure if that would get an explosion boost or a bullet boost.

Like... I see what they were going for, but does anybody actually play this way, and enjoy it compared to melee, gun, fire, or explosive builds? You'd throw a fastball, then use a gun to mow somebody down, then have to start hacking away, and then back to the fastball... You'd have to keep an eye on the kill skill timers, and remember what your previous kill was the entire time. Or, you can just use pure melee, or an explosive build, and not have to think.

Blood Bath seems worth it for the free grenades alone. I'm like 90% sure Fuel the Blood makes my dynamite buzzaxe stronger. But I just can't see myself getting much of a benefit from Blood Overdrive? Why would I use a 250% damage boost when I can get 600% from RtB alone?

Using a Slagga and DPUH, but prioritizing melee when I can. Got a Rough Rider and Fastball as well.

blood overdrive is not useful skill at all cz its counter many builds not practical skill at all. fuel the blood is very powerul skill... u trow tesla on mobs to get 100 stacks then melee them for massive bloodsplosion dmg..blood bath is also easy to proc... get stacks.. then fastball weak enemy... and with legendary reaper u will do + 500% extra dmg witch melts anything... bu u must have 100 stacks for max dmg. farm self legendary sickle...and legendary reaper with extra 99% extra kill skill duration...and for explosive krieg farm flesh cruch com +6 strip the flesh +5 taste of blood.. farm explosive relic from snowman..and use explosive fastball..get self slagga is best for stacks and slagging...1 point in thrill the kill is enough... in most cases will give u full hp back..kite mobs to group up.. slag then and fastball for bloodsplosion.farm self longbow 0 fuse storm front that is best nade for getting stacks and healing...get self chain lightning for nade regen and heal..and all type of fastball..also farm blood of ancients with extra pistol and rocket ammo its also give u from +50-60% extra health witch will increse u survivability by lot.. and u will alwayes have pleny of ammo.farm self also sheriff badge.. and chaothic neutral barbarian..fire lady fist. and bee shield for super easy snowman farm

I think I have a Scream Sickle mod right now - +6 Silence the Voices and +5 of whatever the first melee skill is called. Any advice for getting a legendary mod? I was farming loot midgets and the snowman train for awhile, but got legendaries for everyone but Gaige and Krieg.

you might wanna try farming Tubby's in either Arid Nexus Badlands ( Skags ) or Highlands Outwash & Extraction Plant ( Stalkers ). then there's behind Ellie's in the Dust.

i like to farm legendary mods in frostburn canoyon.. wen u sapwn take u left also in ammo boxes there is chance to get midgets as well so u can get some nice relocs...blood of ancients//bone of ancients to boos elemental dmg wen u need//lot ppl farm in badlands that is also good spot to farm fast there.. get slagga flesh cruch com.explosive relic and explosive fastball... u check just in front of u save quit and reapet..
