b)whose gonna fire him? who do you think has the power to do that.
We don't know what the distribution of shares is for those 5 people, but if you do a Google search for "Who owns Gearbox" it's Pitchford's name that comes up. It is entirely possible that Pitchford is the largest shareholder, possibly even the majority shareholder.
If (and only if) Pitchford is not the majority shareholder, then the other 4 could force him out of the CEO position. But he'd still own a portion of the company.
But we don't actually know what the distribution is, because as I said, the company is privately held. Since it's not publicly traded, they don't have to report all their financial details to the SEC.
THIS, is the stuff that makes me wish I could afford to buy 10 copies.
I don't hate you, I think I feel bad for you.
First, you said that totally wrong "I could care less" says you do care, at least some. I think what you were looking for is "I couldn't care less", "I could't care any less" or "I couldn't possibly care any less:
I don't think many of us care about your outrage, don't buy the game, I just don't care, your choice. I suspect the the people who will buy it, greatly outnumber the members of the outrage mob who won't, and I suspect many of them will buy it anyway.
To the OP - you want him out? This ain't no videogame, and you'll have to adopt a more practical solution. Knowing what I do, I might suggest making him an offer he can't refuse - the cliche goes "every man has his price" but I sense there maybe wisdom in the current application. Oh, you already tried that and you're telling us you don't have the capital to buy him out? That's only a minor problem for a BL2 Master like you ~ find someone who can cover the bill. Better still, someone with more than sufficient capital in their petty cash box who's got their own reasons for wanting him out. hmm ... whoever could that be?
There's only one big publicly owned / traded major American corporation I can think of. And you know who I'm talkin' about. Do your homework on their relationship with RP ~ they ARE publicly owned so you know the info you seek is available. But in order to ascend to level 80 / OP8 in this reality game, you'll need to figure out how to make a proper approach and who to see about your desire when you get there. There's one other massive global corp that could certainly use an asset like Gearbox in their portfolio but I seriously doubt you can get your case considered by them as they have a long-established tradition of not getting their hands dirty with hostile takeovers. So my best recommendation moves back to option #1.
I hate to sound old-fashioned but go to your local library tomorrow morning and ask the Head Librarian to get you everything currently available on the company we're discussing. That's where your education can start if you wannit bad enough.
If not, that'd be cool too but please stop spamming the BL forums with your off-topic kiddie crap. Happy gaming
Anyway, your opinion is yours and I'm not trying to change it but...I CANNOT wait for BL3 to drop so we can move on to a different flavor of "hurt feelings" posts
He assaulted an employee.
Acts like a child on twitter.
Lies about his games and what he will have on them.
Attacks his fans and followers and is a complete idiot, get rid of him...simple
