Cat mod?

You mean legendary cat mod?

Idk anything other than Tubbies on UVHM. Or Loot Midgets.

Legendary Cat is exklusive to tubbies at level 62+.

Regular cat mods could be found anywhere- chests, enemies, vending machines.
Try the loot train after defeating Tinder Snowflake, should have about 8 or so class mods per kill.

To be honest with you I don't think the cat mods are much good. Although they claim to boost SMG damage in fact they have very little effect on it at all. The issue is that the boost is a percentage of the base stat which is small compared to other boosts you already have on there due to other skill points and your relic. You will find for example that the SMG damage boost on the Cat mod is significantly less than a boost damage on a relic. It's true that the skill points on the Cat mod are great but you may find that the skill points on something like the Legendary Siren mod are far better. So watch out, not everything is as it seems.

It is quite easy to find regular Cat mods with 70+% and Legendary Ctas with 100+%.
Doubling your SMGs base damage isn't small, it is quite significant.

Elemental relics are good because they're multiplicative, all other relics and most skills are additive just like the Cat mods but don't offer as a big a boost.

I've recently been having tremendous success equipping my Siren with a corrosive damage relic. This seems to boost the Cloud Kill ability's damage even further, from the red skill tree.

Despite being corrosive, that Cloud Kill is potent against virtually any enemy :orb: I'm now trying to find a good "Witch" Class Mod that will potentially boost that corrosion even further.

It's only significant if you don't use anything else. You will of course use skill points, and you may use a relic and a bee. I mean just go in to the practice area and try it. On paper it seems great but in a real, full setup it's actually not significant at all.

The elemental damage relics are massively powerful. They are actually better than the corresponding class mods so don't be too surprised if you are less impressed with the witch mod than you are with the relic. Get the fire relic too. Both of them are awesome.

If that was my goal, I'd probably go with a Splatter Witch myself.

Although, I guess I'd want to test the results against a Legendary Cat and a Legendary Siren too.

At level 26 on normal I managed to drop the legendary siren on a loot midget that jumped out of a cardboard box (on that map with the buzzard nest). So I guess loot midgets in any difficulty ? Also got the legendary psycho a little later after in one of the chest for defeating the leviathan, so that's another place where you might find it.

I hate the Bee but I guess if one were to exploit it with a Sandhawk at all times the Cat mod wouldn't make much of a difference, sure.

Since I don't use it the results are very noticable for me.
Full setup once with Leg. Siren once with Leg. Cat:

4.7 million vs 9.5 million is definitely signifant in practice.
