Op levels not working, pls help!!!
So, I'm playing BL2 with all the DLC except for lilith commander.
I have completed the digistruct peak quest on UVHM with my level 72 char and got the message saying I've unlocked Op levels.
I quit the game, selected salvador again on UVHM. The thing is when I start the game (continue) there is no box with the OP level options.
I have seen a video about Op levels, and also looked for a post about this issue but couldn't find any.
Please help.

Edit: I have completed the quest one more time and got a message "to do it on max level (80)" but as I said, I don't have the Lilith DLC.

It's a visual bug, you need to be level 80 to unlock OP levels

Thanks for answering. So I do have do buy the new DLC if I want to unlock the OP levels?

Short answer: Yes

Long answer:
Basically, Gearbox for whatever reason didn't seem to think that it would make no sense to include a DLC that cannot be used without another DLC, but that is essentially what they have done. I can understand that it would probably create inconsistencies if there were two different OP levels, but then they may as well have kept the DLC free.

If there is a way to play OP levels without having to buy the new DLC, yes I do.

you can use cheat engine to manually set you're level to 80 to get the op levels back.

I know i'm late to this thread but... guess the money is the only thing they care about.
I made support ticket concerning this problem because now my op8 character has been made worthless as i can only play against lvl72 enemies. This was the support message i received from 2K support.


I'm really sorry to see that you are unable to reach to OP levels, but unfortunately, this is indeed because of the latest Borderlands 2 DLC called "Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary" is needed in order to be able to reach new level 80 cap and then unlock addition OP levels.

This DLC came out in July 2019 and it was free till July 8th, 2019. When this DLC came out, the level cap was increased from 72 to 80, and in order for you to be able to access these OP levels, you would be required to get to the new level cap.

Please accept my sincerest apologies, I truly wish that I had a different solution for you right now, but unfortunately, the only way for you to reach these OP levels is to obtain this newest DLC as well.

I just keep it favourited, but it is weird that such a popular guide is not on the top and is under all the clutter instead.

I actually found the steps using Google. Right up there at the top. Never even used the Guide here.
