I entered their lair in hopes of defeating them but those hopes soon turned into regrets as I realized that I only wasted 20 eridium. I'm lvl 52 atm and would be glad to accept any help/carry from a higher level player :D

Going at those guys alone was always a death wish, they still to this day are considered one of the hardest Raid fights, in any event, unless you are running the Community Patch, I can't help you, that said, if you are looking purely to defeat them for the achievements and to move on, then I strongly suggest you revert back to NVHM and defeat them there as they will only be level 32~35 I believe however, if you want to defeat them for loot or whatever then I suggest a team of 4, level 50+ players with good gear.

soloing raid bosses is something that takes a lot of practice and knowledge of gear and boss mechanics and isn't typically done until UVHM wil on level top tier gear.

The Ancient Dragons are arguably the hardest of the raid bosses. Them or Voracidous.

The dragons need a Plan. If you go there and start shooting at any dragon that comes close, it will very quickly become a complete cluster f**k and you will die.

Dragons 101
The dragons need to be done one at a time.
Shoot the chosen dragon with a non-elemental weapon (important) and they will land. Deal with that one, then move to the next. Having multiple dragons on the ground at once - very bad idea.
If you shoot a dragon in the air with an elemental weapon, they will become immune to elemental attacks.

The Dragons
Healianth - blue, shock, heals all the other dragons fully when he lands, by far the highest health.
Brood - green, corrosive, spawns smaller versions when he lands - useful for 2nd winds.
Incinerator - red, fire, sets the floor alight when he lands. He covers himself with his wings and will reflect all bullets if you shoot at him in this state - easy to kill yourself. He is only vulnerable when he is not covered by his wings.
Incinerator and Brood have about the same health
Boost - purple, slag. When he lands, all the other dragons get boosted by one level. This can be repeated...
The lowest health of the dragons.

The preferred order
Generally, Healianth first. Highest health so it might take more than one landing, but if the other dragons haven't been damaged..
Then Incinerator or Brood. They have about the same health. Up to you.
Finally Boost. The weakest of them all. When he lands, there aren't any dragons left to level up.

The dragons are sneaky. They work as a team. They will not attack you one at a time. Be very careful that you don't accidentally hit Boost. Pretty muxh what zoot said but if you are on sniper zero you can change the order to helienth, boost, brood and incinerator. Sure you let the last two get a level, but i like getting slag off the field ASAP and by then your critical assention stacks should be high enought to melt brood and incinorator.

Yep they are really difficult. Only Salvador can solo them on a same level as them without too much issues. Other VHs i dont recommend soloing them as its dangerous for your sanity.
