But,
Try and farm legendary class mods which should help. Also use good(er) guns that benefit your class. But there are plenty of youtube videos that give a general gist of what to do in order to beat Hyperius.
Hyperius is weak to fire, the minions to corrosive. You will likely need a healing weapon of some sort when he novas you.
Different classes have different strategies that work. Don't know yours, so this is general strategy.
Basic plan.
Start the fight by hitting the (unshielded) Hyperius with fire weapons while the minions are spawning in. When the minions start shielding him, stop shooting at him. You will just damage yourself with reflected bullets.
The next stage is damaging the minions until they stop shielding him, then hit Hyperius with fire weapons again when he is unshielded.
Keep damaging minions and only shooting at Hyperius when he is unshielded.
Keep this up.
While there are surviving minions, Hyperius will not go into his 'rage' stage, where he basically just jumps at you. The problem with killing all the minions first means he will enter this phase with most of his health and he is much harder to hit when he is jumping.
When you get Hyperius down to something like 20% health left he will go into 'rage mode' anyway, so you may as well finish off the minions at this point. And finish him off as well.
Once you figure out a plan that works, refine it, get good at executing it, and that once impossible obstacle will become a boss that you farm for goodies. He is the 2nd easiest of the seraph bosses after Pyro Pete.
Dont try to kill the adds first (you actually dont need to kill them at all and they can be used to provide a second wind), just shoot those linked to hyperius to break his shield so you'll be able to damage him instead of getting killed by the reflection of your own bulllets.
For that matter, a weapon with slow projectiles might help, if your shots get reflected, you'll see them coming back and you should be able to avoid them...
Then save a fast shooting fire rocket-launcher (topneaa, norfleet) and/or fire grenades (fastball, MIRV) for when he start jumping. Also when he jump, dont run away from him, run past below him, he will need to turn around before his next jump...
Do note that different strategies apply to different characters, this is my go-to strat for Maya, some characters like Axton or Zero can kill him much quicker with Tediore chucking and B0re.
Also note that Hyperius got his health increased as of the recent update, so it’s normal if he’s harder to kill now
That said I am a Borderlands vet (console, just migrated to PC) And this is not my first time round the block, if this is your first ever play through then I feel you pain, and if you think he sucks, wait for your first encounter with Master Gee...
EDIT: Forgot to mention The Bee
by the way im playing as mechromancer
