how to get the vault key?

i got handsome edition, and i got one key at the beginning, it can only open one vault in sanctuary , i played to chapter 16, didn't get any new key, so how to get this key in the game? is it a micro translation product or somethings else? what it inside ? is the stuff( gun) unique in this vault, i may open it only after end game( as it can sure the level of the gun at the higher value/LV)

I assume you are talking about Golden Keys, because the Vault key is an entirely different thing. Golden keys are obtained from SHiFT codes, google it to find out more.
