however any Hyperion controlled area has a better chance of spawning him.
I'd farm by going through thousand cuts and "The Bunker" saving then exiting and hitting those 6 chests outside + and obviously the containers.. You'll have Jimmy rustled in no time..
You're making me depressed saying that
Jimmy Jenkins can spawn from these boxes. Quite frequently in fact.
The room is located just outside where bloodwing was supposed to be located in the main quest. There is a red chest located inside with 4 basic cardboard boxes on the other side of the room, with one of the objectives for doctors orders inside one of the boxes. Use this as a marker to help find it if you wish.
Run to the animal fighting arena in the reserve. Enter and then return to the reserve. This will set a point for you to quickly quit and then return to for however long you want to farm for.
You will need to fight a badass or higher level robot and a animal thing everytime before a door leading to the farm area will open though.
Do this on a low level playthough as a high level character if you think it's too cheaty. These midgets will drop high quality loot from time to time. And the chest is pretty good too.
Edit: the midget spawns are tied to the objectives for doc's orders. If you pick one up. Only 3 will spawn from all the boxes. Make sure to never use auto pickup in the room to increase your chances. As you will grab one of the objectives.
Is that a Hyperion controlled area?
Heard about this after I finished all the side quests on my character, now I can sadly only do it in Vault Hunter mode which makes it take a bit longer than expected. I wonder if it's really worth to play through the story once more to increase the chances a bit more.
Pure achievement, he's the last challenge I'm missing on my main so I'd love to just finish it and 100% the game.
Then for completions sake, restart UVHM and get the "Doctors Orders" side mission WITHOUT completing the "Wildlife Exploitation" story mission, it makes it easier to farm the loot midgets (it shouldn't take too long to get Sanctuary in the air if you just blast the main story)
Do you know where to farm the loot midgets?
Just to add to this, from a fellow Completionist (I play console primarily) it would take less time to completely redo EVERYTHING on UVHM than it would to farm the 15 required Jimmy Jenkins outside of Doctors orders, for the simple fact that Jimmy's spawn rate is already stupid, from general data gathering its already less that 0.5% and on top of that you have to take into account the much more common spawn rates of the other 4 available loot midgets that can easily ninja his spot taking the actual chance to spawn Jimmy into the double decimals... Which is beyond a joke... People can put in thousands of hours and never even see one.
So again for Completionist sake, restart UVHM and re do Doctors Orders.
Finally got my first Jenkins making me 100%. Just a few more now to do in UVHM. Thanks for the tips amigos.
Which i also might add is annoying as f*** when one spawns in place of a loot midget as Jenkins doesn't drop anything of value.
