What order should I do the DLC in?
I've just done my first playthrough of the game in NVHM (lvl 30 siren) and I'm wondering if its worth it to play through one of the dlcs (I'm thinking captain scarlet's dlc just bc sandhawk) I plan to do a TVHM and possibly UVHM run and I don't know if I should "save" some of the dlcs for later. Should I do any DLC before TVHM?

When you want better gear for NVHM, why not. But you should get a Sandhawk for Siren, before you start the TVHM. But you need the Flying Prefix for the Sandhawk! Other Prefixes have only slow Projectiles!

Should I also play through the entire dlc and give up the grog nozzle? I can get it in a later playthrough, right?

The Grog Nozzle is not a Quest reward, so you must get that Quest, in every difficulty or in one of them. You can't keep them over difficultys!

Definitely scarlet first. There's plenty of qquest reward weapons that are game changer and will help you a lot when starting tvhm. Rapier, pimpernel, sandhawk, to only name those...
Then I think dragon keep could be a good choice to try and grab some of those ammo regenerating grenades, especially magic missile and chain lightning. Also the grog nozzle...bladed if possible.
If you like AR you can get the kitten in the torgue dlc.... but try to get yourself a shield with elemenal immunity or a leech grenade mod (dropped by the warrior) before going there.

TVHM is easy enough for you to go through it with no special gear, especially as a siren - any decent blue item of the right element will work. Go to Scarlet's dlc if you feel like it but don't stress about it too much. You might as well just farm the warrior 5-10 times and get decent gear that way. The end of TVHM and going into UVHM is when you should start stressing over gear, Moxxi weapons, slag items, good shields, etc.

You don't really need that much of a decent gear, mostly because you're still leveling up, so blue-purple rarities equipment should be enough, although you should start getting slag weapons as the new types of enemies are quite beefy.
You can play all DLCs, but you don't have to at TVHM because you have to avoid being over lv 50+.

How decent are we talking? I've gotten the sandhawk already and also have a bee from killing hunter hellquist 30ish times, is that enough to get me started in tvhm? Warrior was easy enough to kill but I don't feel like walking through heroes pass again, do I really need a conference call or leech grenade?

Nope! TVHM is tougher than normal, but not by all that much. You don't need any unique guns at all. I honestly never worry about farming anything until I hit UVHM because I know it will be underleveled soon anyway. I'll grab quest rewards if the quest is fun or I needed to do it for experience, but the base game has plenty of good gear already.

Mate, you don't even need the bee and the sandhawk for tvhm, it's not that though.

To be fair each DLC has its own great rewards, for Maya, doing Pirates Booty first is a sound idea, not only for the Sand Hawk but also for the Pimpernel, which is soooo OP when used together with Mayas Chain skill

(side note, there are some people saying about the "Flying" Prefix for the Sand Hawk although this is true, its not as easy as it sounds, the Sand Hawk is a quest reward and the prefix is completely random so if you don't get it, you don't get it, unless of course you are open to read only farming for the perfect one)

In any event in terms of order, personally I play them in order of release.

Pirates Booty (Sand Hawk and Pimpernel)
Campaign of Carnage (on level Unkempt Harold's aka everything is easy mode)
Hammerlock Big Game Hunt (UVHM Lead Storm)
Assault on Dragon Keep (Because D&D)
Fight for Sanctuary (Because Legendaries everywhere...)

Then

Head hunters in any order.

All that said I honestly wouldn't worry about farming hard for anything until you are at UVHM, use NVHM as a way of enjoying all of the story and side missions that each DLC has to offer and just enjoy the ride, then worry about farming for gear at a later date to take on the Raid bosses.

Just be aware that if you're level 40 or so Pirate's Booty and Torgue become extremely easy. I was playing the game in normal mode and had to activate the TVHM to make it challenging. I played Tiny Tina before all this (I was around level 35 in normal mode) and that was balanced.

I, uh, finished the main story without starting the dlc and may or may not have overleveled bc I started TVHM, is it a bad idea to go back to NVHM dlcs? I heard it’s a bad idea to go into UVHM at higher levels after doing dlc just because of how it scales. Would a better option be just to create a new level 30 character to do the DLCs with?
