Weird red circle crosshair in top right of screen, anyone know what's causing it?

Hi, for whatever reason, recently this red crosshair has been appearing in the top right of my screen.

It only appears on Borderlands 2, not any other games so far that I've checked. Do you know how to get rid of it?

do you have any Audio software overlay enabled ?

it's been known to do similar effects like yours.

Uhh... I don't know. I have the discord overlay, the steam overlay, and i think there's a nvidia overlay hiding in there somewhere.

try disabling the Discord overlay.

see if that gets rid of it.

I disabled the discord overlay, that didn't remove it.

did you check your Audio software ?

I don't really have any audio software, other than what is already there. I checked the default windows stuff and it seems normal. It doesn't seem related to nvidia either but I could be wrong.

Look more deeply into what Draekus has suggested here. It's likely that you have pre-installed software on your system that is responsible for this.

The culprit here was shown to be audio software from Nahimic.

Ok I checked what was installed recently and I saw something called "Dolby Atmos for Gaming". There was a checkbox for Sound Radar that I toggled "off" and now it seems to have disappeared. Thanks for the help!
