did not get the mouthwash relic

i was playing duo with my friend. After killing the last boss my game crashed so i had to relounch it.the last mission ticked off for me and it was ready to turn in before it crashed.i toled my friend to wait for me to log back on to complete the mission. after logging back on my friend completed the mission but i did not get the relic. Anyone know how i could get it?

If your friend has it, it is possible to duplicate it via the trade way. It is an oldschool 'trick' but to my knowledge it should still work

Inventory limitations are bypassed whenever you get a quest reward, or does it only happen in solo mode?

If your inventory is full, you still get quest items, and they count as going over your backpack limit, just means 1 more item you need to get rid of to carry more loot.

Make sure you have room in your inventory to pick it up. Have your friend start a game and join him. Then have him drop it. You pick it up and leave. Then your friend hit's alt f4 to force close the game. You will have it and his inventory won't change.

Nope

Have item on your character>have friend open up a lobby> join lobby>give item to friend>alt+f4>friend now has item and you have item
