Class Mod stats on OP10
Hi everybody,

I know this has been commented on before, but a) I can't find it anymore and b) the injustice has become outreageous. One example: I have a Legendary Cat Class Mod level 80 with stats of +138% Gun Damage and -37% Gun Accuracy. Now I got the same Mod on OP10 and the stats are +103% and -44%, respectively. HUH???
I know that sometimes e.g. a green rarity gun can be better than a blue rarity gun. Or if you have 2 pieces of the same equipment on e.g. level 70 and the other on 72, the stats can be the same or the level 70 can even be better. But we're talking about a 10 level difference here. Seriously? The level 80 is better? I wonder. Because I also have a Fibber that has e.g. a Fire Rate of 30, but when I shoot the fire rate is really somewhere around 3 and not 30.
Now, with a gun it's easier to check if the numbers displayed in the stats are correct or not. But with a Class Mod it's a bit more difficult to tell.
Is this some kind of glitch and the OP10 Mod is still better than the level 80 despite the stats suggesting otherwise?

Can anyone shed a bit of light on this? Is this just a f**k up or are they f**king with us on purpose?

Same level, huge difference in numbers. Game RNG at work,
I don't know how many variants there are, but damage varies a lot, as can accuracy loss.
I haven't found many Legendary Cats at OP10 yet, but I have seen one at +141% damage. No idea if that is the highest possible.

The thing about Fibber numbers is that they are all lies. Magazine size of 1600? Um no, it isn't.

Sham shield percentage chances do not increase with level. Capacity and recharge rate increase with level, but absorb chance does not. The single 94% Sham I have seen was on the story mission in normal, level 26 iirc. The same parts at OPwhatever will still give a 94% chance but the capacity and recharge rate ratio will remain the same, even though the numbers will be a lot higher. The recharge delay will not change.

Im not exactly sure but coms don't scale past level 72(now 80 i think),and the stats are random, you have to farm until you get the best one.

on legendary mods these stats wont scale, its just random... but skill points do scale with level

I understand that WITHIN a certain level there can also be differences, but not as big as the above mentioned. Like: you wouldn't (or shouldn't as I'm not sure with this example) get 2 Sham shields on level 80 and one has 90% absorption and the other only 60%.
I would even be fine with it if they don't scale past level 80. In that case I wouldn't farm anymore, but that an OP10 is far worse than a level 80?! C'mon man!
I just got an OP10 Sheriff's Badge that has 0.7% higher Gun Damage than the level 76 I had before.

Weapons and shield are another world, they have parts, each part change the stats of the weapon/shield.
There is a perfect combination of parts that's make the sham drops with 94% Absorb or really bad parts that make the shield the worst one, same for weapons to an extent. The solution? Farm like hell until you get the best one lol, grindy game if you want perfection

not only class mods can have worse Stats despite being a higher level. Relics are the same.
