An "Easy" Way To Kill "Blue" (Caustic Caverns)

I am on UVHM, and got the mission "Safe and Sound"
Wilhelm dropped "The Rolling Thuder".... I know, it is a dangerous thing to use, BUT, when Blue appeared, I just threw all of my grenades (using Rolling Thunder grenade mod), and it was dead in less than ten seconds.... didn't even get damaged.

Now, I am probably the WORST Borderlands 2 player to have played this game.... but I seriously kicked Blues {bad word}.

Just some friendly advice, I guess....

Darn. The one variant I have not been lucky enough to find, despite many, many hours of searching.

Blue (and Rouge) I generally deal with using explosive guns - Harold, Torgue shotguns etc. I must try using grenades next time as I have never actually tried it. Thank you for some inspiration Kevin. :)

Slightly off-topic : am I the only one that thinks that the crystals dropped by Blue (and Rouge) are entirely the wrong colour, and would be much more pleasing if they were colour matched?

you could potentially use the Bonus Package on both Blue and Rouge. but as you already pointed out, using the Unkempt Harold or any explosive shotgun works best

The Fastball might also be a decent option for killing it with 'nades.
