Borderlands 3 comedy is just bad.... anybody else agree?

The comedy is lacking a lot of wit, it just seems really stupid. I almost want to play the game muted. Really disappointed since I loved the comedy in the other games. I just did the Ace Baron rapper doc quest and I had a WTF face on the whole time.

i think the villians are worst part they are just annoying to the point i want to mute my game just so i dont hear the tyreens annoying lets player youtuber voice though then again maybe they wanted the villian to be annoying as ♥♥♥♥ but i think the game is still fun and enjoyable if you ignore the annoying as ♥♥♥♥ villians

She's also less insane (if that's even possible) but yeah I do agree I didn't much fancy teen-tina.

As for the rest; you guys DO actually realizing the way they do Tyreen and Troy is EXACTLY what makes it funny for people right? I mean I can't be the only one who lets out a laugh whenever they do one of their podcasts, horny for attention as they are....I mean they're a wannabe twitch-thot and wannabe stream-rockstar. How can you not see the irony in that in a day and age where people need stuff like facebook, tinder, twitch, youtube or w/e other live media outlet to feel good about themselves?

I liked Tyreen and Troy, they were ok. Ellie, Moxxi and Tannis didn't make me laugh once and were 90% cringe. The Kilavolt mission was awful writing, so was the mission to save Ava's diary. The soldier voice lines were brutally unfunny. There was a lot that just didn't resonate with me, I thought maybe I was 7 years older and my tastes had changed, but I went and watched some old scenes and they were funnier.

Yea he's a cult figure in the United Kingdom. His voice work is laid back and almost lazy but he pulls it off.

It's beyond bad. I thought Ashly Burch did a great job, even if her lines were horrible. The Tiny Tina model is pretty awful though.

Aside from that, the only time I thought it was funny was the Tommy Wiseau sidequest.

It's not just the humor though, it's all of the writing. There's no story, characters that used to be great are now insufferable, the villains are missing, and completely irrelevant as characters, bandits are coming at you the way they've always done, and all you're doing is fetching key fragments the whole game, like some over enthusiastic dog chasing after a tennis ball.

It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad.

It is too bad they screwed up on the villains, Handsome Jack was a hilarious douche bag, the twins are just cringey douche bags.

That's too bad. One of the best things about BL and BL2 was the writing. One of the best moments for me was in BL's zombie island when you're waiting for Ned to bring the elevator down - but so many great moments with excellent writing in both those games.

The part with the AI girl making monkey noises for 5 minutes straight was so bad it was just embarrassing to be playing.
