Borderlands 3 comedy is just bad.... anybody else agree?

The comedy is lacking a lot of wit, it just seems really stupid. I almost want to play the game muted. Really disappointed since I loved the comedy in the other games. I just did the Ace Baron rapper doc quest and I had a WTF face on the whole time.

I barely remember that quest, i just remember him trying to push his mixtape on you. I enjoyed his voice acting, reminded me of a character in San Andreas. But speaking of rappers, i think Ice T absolutely nailed it as BALEX, every single line out of that bear was funny.

Some of the humour I think is really annoying...other times I think it's brilliant. It's 50/50 I guess on my end.....LOVED BALEX; hated the Duo you needed to kill early on promethea....Kinda cringed when going back to Athena's for the "notebook" but LOVED the reactions you get from Zane when interacting after missions.

It's really hit and miss....even in a single mission as I loved the reference Vaughn makes to VR (people spending 7 years in a virtual place being a reference to BL2 being made 7 years ago) but HATED the overlay you get when actually going in. The whole convo between his 2nd in command and her own head I thought was gold.

Its fine. I am enjoying the story and the script. I doubt any of these people who are saying its not even own the game. There just trolling it.

The humor in Borderlands 2 wasn't amazing but it had some noteworthy moments that were definetly very funny to me personally.
The writing is a lot worse in the third game and the humor mainly consists of cheap jokes and obscure references.

I agree with you that the humor and the writing is extremely disappointing in this instalment.
I have not purchased the game myself but have played it and in the couple of hours I spend with it, I could not even bring myself to laugh once.

I have not purchased the game myself but have played it and in the couple of hours I spend with it, I could not even bring myself to laugh once.

This person has no experience with Borderlands 3 at all. I dont know why he insists on commenting on it like he knows all about it. How exactly did you play it when you don't own it. The same person who said the game was 12-15 hours long. I'm at 12 hours and I'm 10% story 40% map. level 11 out of 50.

I came to the conclusion in that earlier post that you are referencing, that the game length is probably about 25-30 hours which another user confirmed to me.
