The DLC's in UVHM will have higher level gear - but there are some missions it is better to leave until later. Captain Scarlett's has 2 very good mission rewards - the Sandhawk smg and the Pimpernel sniper rifle. Save this DLC until later, so the mission rewards will be better. There are no different mission rewards in UVHM if that is what you are wanting to know.
The 22 aditional skill points that are available in UVHM really do make a big difference to the characters. That is when they become true badasses, not the relatively underpowered wimps they are at 50.
E-Tech relics, Gen 2 Classmods, Pearlescants and Seraph Crystals aswell as Seraph items as a drop are not obtainable in TVHM.
