Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and 2 confusion

So i just bought the game and was wondering if i should buy Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 or Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 ?

What if i buy pack 2, will that include everything from pack 1? How does this work?

if you want to reach lvl 72 OP8 you need Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and 2 and "What if i buy pack 2, will that include everything from pack 1? How does this work?" is a little silly to ask if upgrade pack 2 included everything from upgrade pack 1 why would there be 2 separate packs at the same price. . .

I'm not sure because i didn't do it i just bought the GOTY edition and then Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 straight after i got GOTY

If you only buy pack 2 your characters cap out at 61 and you won't be able to unlock OP levels after DigiPeak.

Weird. What's the default max level cap(without dlc)?

So what you're saying is that, Pack 2 will act as Pack 1, if Pack 1 is missing...

Yes he is, go to the link i posted and that will tell you... and the max level without any DLC is 50

If you buy pack 2 first you will go up to 61 and have digi peak. The pearls I’m not so sure about. But you can’t do the OP levels.

Doesn't matter which one you but you will only be able to reach lvl 61, can you not afford a few extra $ for both? (if u buy pack 2 you wont be able to get op levels from DigiPeak) so pack 1 and 2 ill give pretty much the same thing, they rely on each other for the full game experience.

if you dont think you will reach level 50 you can use gibbed and unlock the last playthrough and go lvl 72 op8 and try it out.

(Gibbed is a save editor if you didn't know)

You should upgrade your base game to the GOTY version. Especially if it's on sale. That's pretty much the best deal in the whole franchise. (Unless you're buying the Mac Game Store's "Complete Edition" on sale).

Beyond that, yes, you want the Ultimate Vault Hunter 2 pack.

The GOTY version and the UVH2 pack are about 70-80% of the game's total content.
