Nova shields on Gaige

Are they effective enough in UVHM to be a viable way of getting kills?
I've never used nova shields before seeing how well they work with bloodsoaked sheilds so i wouldn't know. Any help is appreciated.

they work with bloodsaoked shilds, running the flame of the firehawk with gaige works pretty nice tbh

Nova shields works well w/ gaige. Esepcally shock ones, if you spec'd into Wires Don't Talk skill.

Back to the OP. The Flame of the Firehawk really doesn't benefit from having Blood Soaked Shields. The FotF will nova continuously while it is depleted, causing lots of damage. If you get a kill, BSS will instantly replenish the shield - no more nova damage happens.
If you get down the Sharing is Caring, DeathTrap gets a copy of the shield you have equipped when you launch him. When the shield is the FotF he is quite capable of nova-ing enemies to death, even at OP8.

Off topic, I am beginning to think the 'sequester' might be some deranged bot that someone is messing around with. Or a very unimaginitive troll.
