Binary Mocking Cutsman: The best gun in BL3?

Anyone else play with this much? I got one at 32 that was acid, and one at 50 that was fire and it is by FAR my best weapon. Prior to getting the level 50 version, the level 32 version was still better than most of my level 50 weapons!

It's good enough to overpower situational things like an enemy being resistant to fire, it's even still viable and potent when Mayhem Mode when it's -30% SMG and -30% fire.

Has anyone found this to be the best gun, or any other guns that seem far and away better than all of your others?

I've not found one of those yet. The Arctic night Hawkin SMG is extremely good. That and Pa's rifle (blue tier Jacobs shock elemental reward from the homestead quest) have been my go to weapons for melting mobs. Zane's clone equipped with either of those absolutely destroys. Eridians with the blue health bars can be one shotted with Pa's rifle.

With that being said, I've not unlocked mayhem mode yet. On PS4 you've got to complete the game twice to activate the mayhem console in sanctuary.

I do like the cash-infused brainstormer , got one at lvl 20 , still using it at lvl30 .
Granted i didnt get many legendary so far so i cant say if its really strong or not
Traitor's death is also nice , 25% chance to deal 2x dmg has incendiary

Im currently enjoying some blue smg with cryo dmg because freezing enemy is fun >.> and havent seent the gun you mention yet , is it a random drop or a boss drop ?

It's not a boss drop, it random.

If you aren't getting many legs, definitely add to the luck statistic when you unlock the guardian levels, mine is around 13% and I get a lot.

Im not too worried about the amount of legendary that drops for me , no guardian ranks , no mayhem , no deluxe edition mods . Apparently after 1st playthrough , as soon as you put mayhem 1 , you see a difference , so not worried much hehe

Found one!!!! Acid too. Level 22 and very very strong. Not a better wrecker than arctic Hawkin imo but very fun.

Got something random that works together at lvl 44 , melting graveyard on mayhem 1 (trying 2 in a sec because it just became really boring to grind after getting this combo:

double-penetrating pent-up alchemist(assault rifle) with the transformer (shield)

edit:ye it melted slowly on mayhem 2 with -35% gun dmg debuff

I found an ogre. I hate it. Luminous skin, made by vladof now and just useless compared to the BL2 version. Maybe it'll work on moze. And a hellfire too (still brilliant).

I just started using that shield myself, it's awesome, you're basically in god mode as long as something is shocking you. Some item combos are really cool, I'm having fun figuring out what combines well with what.
