Giant random cash drop
So, I was playing Borderlands 2 along with a friend. And we were around level 17 at this point and we were doing Fink's Slaughterhouse and we were on the last wave. He's dead already and then I die and respawn.
Suddenly the fee was in the millions. I found it strange and I look and I suddenly had 32 million on me. I had around 10k before I died.
My friend had 42 million on him.

I've found nothing on this, was it a bug or is there a rare million dollar cash drop that you can get?

Well, probably not. Since I only had around 10k before I died. And my friend was around the same.

It couldn't even possibly have happened if it grabbed all the money from around the ground because it wasn't that much

Enh ... there are mods that will let people do that. Most likely some one gave you that money.

There are people who ... kind of miss the point of ARPGs and think they're "helping" by giving you stuff.

maybe your friend had something to do with it

Rat Thieves steal large amounts of money from players they melee. if They are killed soon enough after they drop it on the ground. It will be a pinkish color. You picked up your friends or your own money.

OP just said that this can't be the reason due to the insane amount.

My money (heh) is also on shady script using and perhaps your "friend" didn't want to admit the fact.

Well, my friend isn't modding. He hasn't cheated and no one else joined.

He was genuinely as suprised as me, so I highly doubt it.

Well, again. We didn't have that much money. We only had around 10k each. And how that turns into 32 million I don't know

Well, again, there is just NO WAY your cash multiplies like that. It's not a bug either, not that we heard of such a thing at least.

So either your pal is responsible or you are, since no one else joined.

No two ways about it. Your friend punked you, most likely.

Well, again. I doubt it was my friend. He's a very truthful person and I wouldn't post about it pretending it was a bug if I did it.

The only thing I recall being different was the money having a slightly grey-ish tone to it. But that's about it.

I'm going to rephrase that.
As the last round was going, there was a money drop from an enemy I can't remember and the money looked grey-ish.

Fine_Print wrote that it would be a pinkish color.

But besides, if it was the thief rats, then I wonder where they got that money from
Sirius Dec 8, 2016 @ 10:02am
From 10k to millions. Those were not the rats.
DesmondTheGrape Dec 8, 2016 @ 11:37am
the rats could have gliched out and just broke
