Install
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+install+gibbed+borderlands+2+save+editor+
Use
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+use+gibbed+borderlands+2+save+editor

Go to:
Documents\my games\borderlands 2\willowgame
Copy the folder named save data some place in case you mess up. In fact you should keep that folder backed up in case something goes wrong to prevent lose of save data.

Your saves are still on your system drive, it is the save data you edit not the game files.

The how to use videos should help there, you have to open a save or create one, best to open one. If you have more than one save, set sort to date modified so you can load the last you played. Also remember there is not save that will just save to the one you loaded, you have to remember the one and save to it and say yes replace it.

This is now my favorite thread.

Don't ask why. Just roll with it.

Actually, I'm just too tired to explain why and whatnot, especially when trukr is being so nice trying to help you.

You go ahead, grasshopper. Learn how to cheat like a pro.

Like in all these videos, when they press on the desktop icon, it just opens the save editor right up. And it doesnt do that for me.

There is nothing wrong with being new to something, everyone was new to it when they started.

I tend not to do things like team view.

I have used that save editor, much of what it can do I have no idea about as I used it, I guess limited manor. But, I played a long time before I did that and still mostly play without it.

My advice, and you can take it or leave it is, play the game as they made it. It's really a good one. If you use the editor, keep in mind that if you go overboard you will likely soon be bored with the game.

I don't mind leading you to the tainted water (gawd I am a stinker) but please learn to drink from it and not expect me to pour it down your throat.

Good luck to you and have fun either way. :claptrap:

When you say you have the icon on your desktop do you mean you made a shortcut to Gibbed, or did you just drag the file out of the folder?
Also, did you unzip the folder?

When you dowloaded it it should have been a .zip (compressed) folder. Until you unzip it all of the files are useless.
And just dragging the file out woudn't work either. Gibbed uses files in a subfolder. Unless that subfolder is also on your desktop it can't run properly.

Edit: If the folder is still compressed you should see what looks like a zipper on it. RIght-click the folder and and select "Extract all".
