Borderlands 2

Is there a way to increase movement speed? Game-mods, or something?
I've recently tried to play it again, but amongst other things I've noticed how long it takes to "run" from A to B.
I've tried to find something on the internet, without success.

I'm thinking of something along the lines of the Gibbed editor or similar. Does anyone know of a tool to increase movement speed?

Well, some characther skill can help you. Which characther do you playing?

this. If you're still unsatisfied, dip into the realm of cheat engine. I wouldn't recommend it, as maya with a breakneck banshee class mod does the trick just fine.
With the UCP the lucrative opportunity relic gives you +movement speed, about 50%
Depending on the character yes, Maya with the Breakneck Banshee class mod and a Rough Rider can move very quickly, Salvador can move more quickly with his "Bus That Can't Slow Down" skill (or whatever it's called) when Gunzerking. And if you have the Unofficial Community Patch installed you can finish the mission "Safe and Sound" from Marcus and turn it in to Marcus to get the Lucrative Opportunity relic, which gives a flat boost to movement speed. Hope this helped!
I'm playing Zer0 .

Useful as that is, I don't want to give up the class mod I'm currently using. I may look into the relic, though.

As the saying goes, I want to eat the cake and have another for later :-)
(i.e. I'm hoping there's a simple way to cheat/mod to achieve this. It's single player, so I don't much care about cheating.)
Try bumping your FOV, it will feel like you are faster.

Yeah, because that will lessen the time needed to cover a given distance, which is his chief and specific complaint. Genius.

People aren't as irrational as you may think. I remember reading an article where players complained the shotgun in a game felt too weak. The devs changed the sound of it, not the actual stats and suddenly people were statisfied. Or classic examples: people spamming space in games thinking they are faster or quickswitching sniper rifles thinking that increases the fire rate.
Increasing the FOV works just like a placebo, it doesn't actually do anything but It can still help.
But whatever, keep throwing your worthless sarcasm around.

OP did not say "feels slow", OP said " I've noticed how long it takes to "run" from A to B.", so this is not about something to make it feel faster, but something to make it faster.

I personally think the question is silly, too much instant gratification in this world. People think everything should be done in an instant, including playing a game.

Generally I think those walks are important to let the player recover, grab ammo. You can't be fighting 24/7. But maps like Eridium Blight or Wam Bam Island are a bit empty and big, the pacing starts suffering if you spent nearly a minute mindlessly holding down W.

Your advice was worthless, 2 posts worth. Good job.

I agree that the lull in activity is helpful, find ammo, charge shield, get HP back up. But those maps are not an issue to me. Maybe doing the first one first taught me that, and even there the wide open long walks did not bother me. If you were in a post apocalyptic environment, what would you expect, rapid transit ?

Thing is, this game is five years old, it is what it is. People who don't like how it plays should maybe do something else with their time. Yes, some things can be done to change some things in the game, but then the game is not as designed and you get the you'r a cheater thing going. I had one of my grandsons on my game one day, he showed my how he could drop and weapon on the ground and swap between equipped and what was on the ground repeatedly and then could run and jump insane speeds and distances. I was, oh, nice, and moved on LOL

Oh, I don't care if people use the save editor or CE to the max, their game. As long as they are not messing up other people's games when they do it, fine. They are only cheating themselves out of a lot of game play when they get bored and move one.

Well, that point is reached, so there's nothing left to lose.
Either I wring out a last bit of fun, or I drop the game altogether.

You have a short attention span then, or the game is a bad fit for you. That's fine, I don't care what you do, but the game has more than under 200 hours of playing to it.
