Xbox 360 Borderlands 2 GOTY DLC not working on xbox one.

So i recently downloaded my xbox 360 version of BL2 On xbox one. I can't play the GOTY DLC maps for some reason as it keeps redirecting me to purchase tap. Nothing in "downloadable content" or "ready to download" or anything like that. Initially i could actually chose kreig and gaige at least but then i resett 360 cache and now i cant play them either :/
The DLC disc doesn't even do anything except boot up the original game like the normal disc.


I know im not supposed to post 360 stuff here but there literally isnt a single fix on the entire internet.....Everyone keeps saying i need to press "make this my home xbox"(which is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix and its allready done), or "transfer license" (WHICH DOESNT EVEN EXIST) (they even have another settings layout for some reason -.-)

Please help, i don't want to pay alot of money to buy handsome edition which microsoft is probably intentionally trying to make me do..

I too encountered this problem and I managed to solve it as follows:
(with the physical copy of the GOTY version)
- Remove the game from Xbox One through "manage game", which is around 14 Gb in size.
- Place the DLC disc in the Xbox One
- You will be prompted with an update for Borderlands 2, accept this, the game will be downloaded.
- Also all DLC-packs from the disc will be in the queue as well.
- When ready the game will be 15,1 Gb in size and all DLC-packs are shown in "Recently installed".
