I have been farming the rubi from moxxi for awhile now, and I finally got a slag version, should I just take that, or should I keep going for the binary version?

Why binary? It's not like anyone uses it for DPS. It's primarily used for healing on demand.

I'd say the x2 prefixt isn't even the best option for DPS as it can be harder to crit with then.
