Gibbed: Apply Changes
Okay, I am new to gibbed and think i got along with how it works, BUT nobody tells you how to APPLY the changes to the acctual game...

I open gibbed, do my stuff and then?
I assume I have to save the changes, but where? Do I need to overwrite the old oavegame?

I dont wanna take the risk of ruining my Char so I am rather not into just tring stuff out...

TX for any help

Did you consider checking out the tutorials on youtube?

So backup your save then. It's the first thing you should do before using gibbed anyways.

Do you really need a video to tell you to back up important files before editing or performing any operations on them? Do you? Really?

There are few helpers. All that people here suggest is asking the developer but the fact is that he's not very easily reachable. This should answer all your questions - it's as easy and complete a tutorial to using gibbed as I know of.

basically, yes. you do have to overwrite your savefile.

Hello. I know that folks have indicated how it is done. And if you have figured it out just ignore this.

1. Open Gibbed.

2. Click on OPEN FILE. It should open to your current saved file folder location. You can have one or more save files depending on if you restarted with a new game. So basically your latest file will have the hightest number, say save_003 verses save_001.

3. Do your changes.

4. Click on SAVE FILE. It should show what save files you have. Generally your latest will be the highest number file. Double click on what you determine to be your latest file save. If that is it click ok on the popup.

5. Go into the game and start. It should be save_002 (or save_001 - which ever was the last one you got out of the game in.)

6. Hopefully you should see changes.

Good luck.
