Characters are gone any way to retrieve them?
I felt like playing this again and finally finish the DLC i didn't play yet only to find out all my characters are gone wich is wierd because i remember uninstalling the game and more than a year later re-installing it and my characters were still there.

Is there a way to ''re-synchronse'' with the could or anything like tha? I remember the characters being saved on there or something.

Anything that can be done or are they gone?

Did you turn the cloud off?
Are you playing on the same platform as before (PC, Mac or Linux)?

If the cloud was off, they are gone if they are not on your computer. If you switched platforms, the cloud is not cross platform, you would have to log in on the same platform you played to get the saves and then move them manually to the new one.

Yea sorry to say they are gone it should have file's like "Save0001" Save0002, ect. your only best bet is to find save files online or mostly likely someone will say use GIbbed to make a exact copy of your character.

What I would do (I do it all the time without losing my saves) is start a new character and start murdering, errr, being a good person and defending myself from bandits and, murdering things and.... errr, bah murder things and get loot LOL

I keep a backup of my save folder, that helps. Anyway, have fun.

Sorry to hear that! Don't be too down on yourself. I did the same; sometimes the synch after playing took so long to complete. MC Gizmo gave me a good lecture on backing up my saves, and I now do :steammocking:

Turns out i got lucky i turned the cloud back on and when i started BL2 again it gave me a pop-up sking me if i would like to dowload the files from the cloud or replace the cloud with the new files.

So i got my characters back and i'll keep a backup of my saves as well :)
