The only real use for them that I have found is for the assorted DOT FFYL challenges and for the transfusion grenade challenge.
If your playstyle involves throwing transfusion grenades and then rushing in guns blazing, ordinary slag transfusion grenades will work a lot better than Leeches.
More of a substitute for a Grog Nozzle as a Shock Leech would be great for eating through shields before leeching health
Not really, there are times where you'll only get 1 chain off it and only healed partially, i've had too many encounters with that before and ultimately resulted to second winding
Okay, 1: Chain lightning does just under 2 million. 2: Grog Nozzling with the Chain Lightning does not make you "invisible", nor does it make you invincible 3: I'm not always gonna have a grog nozzle nor a moxxi weapon on my hotbar, the leech is just an alternative
No. It does not make you INVINCIBLE. You can deal no damage while healing constantly with chain/grog, and enough damage coming during the delay between deploying one nade and the next, you can and will still go down.
Better yet, play without any moxxi gear. Use transfusions and whatever healing your skilltree provides.
I dont melee, so makes more sense for me.
