Solo Gaige Build Help/Tips

Hey guys! I've been doing a solo play through of Borderlands 2 as Gaige. Its been lots of fun grabbing a SMG and unloading a hellstorm of bullets at mobs. But there have been parts in my TVHM play though (At lvl 39) that feels like I'm hitting a brick wall (Esp. with the mutated bug quest and trying to return to Sanctuary after it teleports).

So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong with my build. Should I try to complete one entire skill tree? Or should I keep doing what I'm doing right now? Also, should I keep Smaller, Faster, Lighter? I can see the worth of having less bullets in a mag, esp when I can heal with full mags. But I feel like I'm wasting more time reloading.

Anyway, I think one of the best build you can have is left skill tree (DT build) with just one point in anarchy for starter.
Later you wanna get "Blood soaked shields" for excelent shield recovery (full shield after each kill you do)

Thats build which Iam doing (but Iam not expert on that matter).

I've been mostly putting points into the right skill tree. That Discord skill is a life saver on more than one occasion. I did put quite a bit of points into the right, so DT regens my sheilds, but I'm finding more and more elemental guns, so the middle skill tree is looking better and better.

Also, my skill mod adds 3 points to like three diffrent skills, two of which are in the right skill tree.

I usually play Anarchy + BFF Gaige. This is the sort of build I would use at 39.
DeathTrap is useful, you have control of the Anarchy stack via Discord. You have to use Smaller Lighter Faster to get further down the OC tree, if you want to be able to control Anarchy.

None of the characters benefit from filling one tree before moving on to the next. You may end up with a tree that has a lot more points than the others, but that is not the same as putting them all there first.

With Gaige, the BFF and OC trees are the ones that you should probably concentrate on first. None of my Gaiges have any points in the middle LBT tree until level 50+.

There's my skill tree.
That doesn't include any of my items, including my class mod. So I just removed anything that increases my skills.

Spreading out your skill points that thin hardly gives you any worthwhile benefits. It's better to max out the ones that you'll be relying on the most and just invest in the other skills later when you're ether able to put at least 4 skill points in, or boost them beyond 5 points with class mods:

Always max out Close Enough in any Anarchy build. Forget about Fancy Mathematics and Buck Up and max out Blood Soaked Shields instead. You'd want Deathtrap to concentrate on attacking enemies and drawing aggro as much as possible instead of occasionally regenerating your shields, and you could just recover health with a maxed out Cooking Up Trouble when needed. Also, Unstoppable Force is a nice speed boost but I'd prioritize The Better Half over it first.

running a pure anarchy build on OP8 :D

get a shotgun, get to 400 stacks and start blasting like a mad (wo)man :D

my current weapons are

low clip jacobs shotgun (quick reload/anarchy)
tedior plasma caster (for slagging wich you need this far in)
unkempt harold (easy farm)
puissant nortfleet (awsome launcher)

for shield i would go for an absorb shield because you'll be spamming like crazy hehe (but it's so friggin fun haha... it does tons of damage but you can't hit crap but the bouncing bullets will hit everything around you hehe)
