Any decent weapons speficically against stalkers?

So far I have a Striker that effectively kills them, but those rabid stalkers are bugging the heck out of me as they are tankier than other ranges stalkers.

I do have a Vladof AR with a Torgue barral with spark element. Along with my Hellfire for dispatching them.

Will there be any better choice against them?

First: What class, level, build, playthrough?

Shock once they are slagged is good. Other strategies depend on class, which you didn't give.

Storm front grenade mod. Helps so much for me

Fastball, or any Tediore gun really by way of reload chunking. Just try to keep your distance when using both. These pack a punch with all classes, but can be improved by Axton or Krieg skills.

Also, a singularity grenade can be great for keeping them off you.

Just use a Shock Weapon to get rid of there ammo and finish them with your powerful gun or any realible splash damage type weapon *Excuse my Spellings*

One weapon that I find useful are Vladof e-tech AR shock blasters. Since the shots bounce, it is pretty easy to stalkers since the are low to the ground.

Decent DPS and eats through ammo. Who cares about ammo consumption if it kills stalkers. What else are using AR ammo on? So the ammo consumption is kind of a non factor.

Dahl e-tech might work too. I just have never used them on stalkers.

The Flakker is good for when there are a couple invisible ones in a single area in my opinion
