Is it possible to farm swordplosion?

I'm at lvl42 and I was wondering if it was worth doing the tiny tina's DLC to get this shotgun and if I could get one later again. Or is it just get it once and regret that you didn't get it later? I'm looking for explosive shotgun for my krieg, I got 3 ele shotguns already so it's the only one lacking

Do the mission. Before turning it in to roland, turn off steam cloud. Use windows explorer to set the readonly bit on save000x.sav and save000x.sav.bak, where x is the correct save number. Turn it in. What you want, is casual swordy, 9 mag. Even if he offers you something junk, take the weapon and save quit. If you reselect your character, before continuing you will respawn in flamerock ready to turn in again. Once you get a good gun, use windows explorer to unset the readonly bit on save000x.sav. Delete the .bak file and the game will create a new one. Save your game and you can turn cloud on again if you like.

Without cheating or using a third party solutions (which is ok, in my opinion, for a single player gameplay / enjoyment)...

...you can only get it once per run through (once in NVHM, once in TVHM, and once in UVHM). However, since you can reset UVHM, you can get it as many time as you want by resetting the game. Keep in mind, there is a caveat that all quest/story progress in UVHM will be lost, and you'll have to redo all from the beginning in UVHM.

You can just reset the one mission with Gibbed and redo it, farming for a good one as I described above. Or wait until you are done levelling to get it. The swordy is monstrous, if it has the right prefix and mag size, and I think its particularly good with Krieg.

The others covered the basics -- The only way in the game to get the Swordsplosion is as a mission reward, so there's no easy way to farm it without using some kind of "trick".

But, in the meantime, you could try some regular Torgue shotguns. I've always been fond of the Ravager.

I'm in TVHM anyways and was just worrying if I get in TVHM that it would be ♥♥♥♥ in UVHM and I wouldn't be able to get a new one

alt+f4 until you get the one you want, the trick is to leave the game without saving.

The method I gave is much faster as you dont have completely restart the game every time.
