A train to catch - are you serious ?
Is this survival horror or what ? Why is BL2 so annoyingly hard ?

I'm really angry. Weren't games supposed to be fun ?

I have a lvl 16 Jaxton, got the teddies from tina and now my average survival time is about 20 seconds. There's badass copters spawning which kill me in no time and to raise the fun, I'm respawning right in the middle of the action. I've rage quit after 10 respawns.

Is this a bug or something ? :angryfaic:

You have to change to better guns and shields If you havent already

there are parts of the game where they boost the level to 4-5 above you to encourage doing side missions instead of just bolting through the game, also axton isnt the greatest character, so youll have a harder time with him then any other vault hunter in my opinion

side missions and get better gear, and u have skillpoints and badass points, its not cod but ive never had a level spike that couldent be fixed w side quest

I found the area pretty annoying myself as a Krieg player. However, all you have to do is persist.Kill enough people to level up and you´ll get through it eventually.

This was some kind of bug. I tried again today and got it the first try. Much, much easier than yesterday. There were badass copters spawning like mad. Today not a single one, just the standard types.

I was level 17, now I'm 18 and the only mission I haven't done is the timed parcel thing. I have a 10x97 +acid shotgun, 171 +fire sniper and 103 +slag pistol. Those are the best I have, got the shotgun using a key.

It migt have been some bug.. if you are really strugling in main story, you can do DLC (which scales with your level) but then you will be over-leveling main story which I do not reccomend.

Also, if you just need some help (like in arena or something) let me know and I will help you :)

Nah, just use keys when you need them. Early on you don't have many skills compared to later on. After level 20 or so you don't really need keys at all.

Listen Oppa...Atrain to catch is one of the most entertaining missions of the entire game.
If you are properly armed you should be able to enjoy the game rather than having this temper tantrum.
My recomendation is: Stop playing that mission. Go play some side missions so you can be at a higher level. Retool, go farming, get better weapons...come back to A Train to catch and enjoy it.

"I rushed the game and didn't do any side quests, now I'm massively underleveled and can't count. What BS is this?!" Is what I'm reading from this...

The side missions are optional. But the experience you gain from doing them is not.

You don't need all of them, but you do need to keep your level around the same level as that of whatever main story mission you're working on. Otherwise, you're going to have trouble.

The game becomes more and more difficult the more underleveled you are.

As for the Train-to-Catch mission, bring a Shock weapon. Prioritize the Surveyors. Dodge incoming missiles (the entry way where the broken Fast-Travel is can be used as cover).

Corrosive is significantly more important for the loaders than a shock weapon. If you drop the surveyors fast enough, wilhelm never gets a shield so element type doesn't matter a whole lot. Best bet would be to take both, but if only one is an option, go corrosive.

Best hint I can give you, go look at Borderland Axton builds on youtube. My personal build is just go into his Turret abilities in beginning and later on focus on him. His Turret super OP and besides if you struggling at that part of game try to rush to an quick travel and go do side quest. He is really fun but fades out late game. And remember corrosive weapons you going to need it in this part of game allot. But if i can give u general hint. Go to Oasis from there on. Its worth looking into. you will level to 22 ez there and its such an fun dlc. Good hunting vault hunter

I agree that a Corrosive weapon is certainly useful throughout that mission. But the Surveyors don't appear until after Wilhelm is damaged.

Personally, I always carry a Corrosive weapon, it's part of my normal arsenal, A Shock weapon tends to be more of a special purpose thing that I only carry if I know I'm going to use it, hence my comment.
