If Yes then you should try Updating / reinstalling your Graphics Card Drivers ( works for me few times )
If No , then i've only experienced that Once with League of Legends and it fixes itself tho
So the solution is simple, in my case I got a Wifi repeater and connected an ethernet cable from it to my PC so I don't have to drill holes through walls in my house, and long and behold the issue is gone. Another less viable option would be to disable your connection while playing the game, yes you won't be able to have a party with you, but at least you will be able to have a smooth experience while playing.
Also before anyone goes wild about trying to solve this issue. There is also a very easy way to check if you have the same problem
1) press the windows key + X
2) In the "Run" card write "cmd"
3) Type "ping google.com -t"
4) Watch it for a minute or two.
What that does is literally ping google's domain at a rapid rate, if you spot "Request timed out" that means your connection is unstable and failed to reach it. Which is rather common if you game on a Wifi connection as was I.
it runs a lot better now.
@Fury - Yeah I had some issues with physX even on medium on GTX1070 for crying out loud, that thing is just abysmally crap, that or it's optimized with a potato.
There was a solution of deleting certain files a while back, but I never used it. You might want to try searching for that. Since I play single only I just unplug my network cable or disconnect wi-fi when I play and that eliminates the problem.
I'd be interested if you had a link to some instructions on this, this is the first time I've heard of a workaround and believe me, I've been trying to fix this for almost 6 months now...
Its been quite a while since I've seen the post, it was on this forum though. It involved deleting certain BL3 ad related files. I can no longer seem to find it it, but it did have the downside of if you ever verified your files again it would redownload the problem files.
The only other possible solution I think I've seen was rolling back to a previous version of BL2 from before the Shift Crossplay was implemented, this Crossplay update causes BL2 to ping Shift servers every few seconds causing stutter. Its a long process from what I remember and all players playing together have to have the same BL2 version running, so you'd have to do it for all computers involved.
Theres also a few posts on problems with usb based and/or wi-fi hotspot internet connections as part of the cause for failure to keep connected to Shift servers. In my case its satellite internet I think that is causing the problem, as the ping on satellite is horrible.
I've had this problem on 3 seperate installs on 3 seperate machines, even my brand new one. So the problem probably lies in my connection constantly breaking with Shift.
Try searching the main discussion or community support forum here for stutter fix, you should find something
