Should I wait until 72 to try and do the raid bosses
Currently level 46 on my Maya and I was curious if I should wait or not. I don't have too much experience with high level play as I just started my TVHU playthrough. I only reached 46 due to the DLCs.

You can try do them when ever you want but I would say to wait till 50, 51 and 72.

Hmmkay. I just wanted some advice since I leveled up randomly in the trees instead of following like a build or something. Wanted to know if i was ready or not.

soooo...raid bosses..yeah? lemme give to you a hint - at uvhm raid bossesd are extremely tough, without cheats and exploits you won't beat them alone. Or you need a very specific gear and must know what you're doing. And even then it takes long and you fail most of time. ( do not believe in youtube videos - for every success there are tens of failures but of course nobody posts these at the youtube ) At tvhm - after Warrior 50 lvl raid bosses are nicely beatable with 50 lvl better (some unique drops/quest items) gear.

And please, do not respond to this post like ..but I beat them at uvhm, I have DPUH and norlfeet, everyone is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ king with a DPUH and norfleet, for gods sake ! And most of those dpuhs and norfleets are gibbed and duped anyway.

I didn't think it was possible to reach level 40 in NVHM (for all practical purpose).
Wow... you must have killed... and re-killed.. tons of enemies.

No lol I hit 30 after NVHM. Afterwards, I started my TVHM playthrough doing the DLCs lol.

I don't even understand any of those terms lol.

you can beat the raid bosses at lvl50 although it is easier with more people, but uvhm is best started at lvl50-51 as enemies scale to your lvl so i recommend playing through the main quest in uvhm first, you should beat warrior around lvl56 then you can play the dlcs and do raid bosses at any time (also they are farmable and drop good stuff)

I'm at 39 in Normal mode. I did side quests and just started the DLCs at 30. I was just about to ask when it's a good idea to start True Vault Hunter Mode. When does Ultimat Vault Hunter Mode become available?

It's my first time through this game and this is my highest character so far, an assassin.

30-32 is a good level for tvhm journey. uvhm unlocks after tvhm, do only main quest line at tvhm - after beating the warrior again - all tvhm unlocks at lvl 50 ( regardless of your level) , so you can farm or obtain 50 lvl quest items/legendaries, etc.

@raxrets
Sigh. Another player who thinks UVHM raid bosses are impossible without cheats and exploits.
You did get it right that you need to have a plan and decent gear. Once you know what you are doing, most of the raid bosses are farmable. Not necessarily with all characters - some are better than others with certain bosses.
By farmable I mean kill them many more times than they manage to kill you.

You don't use Norfleets and DPUHs to farm them. Trying to farm the raid bosses using just those two will not get you terribly far.

Earning your levels and thus learning to play the game will serve you better than gibbing your character or downloading saves from the old Interwebs. Doing it legit means you learn how to play the game and develop those skills that you need to take on the raid bosses.
Seeing the achievements for levels 5, 10, 25 and 50 done at exactly the same time sort of gives it away. Saying that all the Norfleets and DPUH's are all gibbed and duped - maybe for you they are. Not true for all players.

OP. DPUH is the Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold - probably the most powerful handgun in the game. Can be farmed from Savege Lee in Three Horns or purchased from vending machines in the Torgue DLC.
The Norfleet is simply the most powerful rocket launcher in the game. It is a rare drop from Hyperius in Captain Scarlett's or from Vermivorous.
Gibbed is a save editor that lets you cheat like mad.
Dupe is duplicating a piece of gear by abusing the duel for a weapon mechanics.

Thank you for the help guys, Sounds like I should just focuse on reaching level 50 and then unlocking All TVHM?

The best advice I can give a new player is: don't take advice from anyone who unlocked levels 5 through 50 at the same time.

What class do you play? Once you have the gear and practice your system, very high success rates with the raids are commonplace, and that's at OP8. And I farm all my gear. It can take a while. Then again, doesn't sound like you want to learn how.

easy there, my response was directed at those who have "acquired" dpuh and norfleet and think they "own" that game now.
