Borderlands 2 Need help. Can't get into the Lair of Infinite Agony
So there seems to be a bug where even though I'm playing solo and have turned off the network in options, it tells me all team members have to be present when I cross the bridge to get to the lair.

I've tried it like 10 times with different things turned on and off and nothing seems to work.

I also tried just going into gibbed and checking the box to allow me to fast travel into the lair but it didnt work either. So here I am :)

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my last hope.

Try exiting out of the game and re-entering

Tried that. 10 times. Even tried killing myself to see if respawn would fix it. Nope....And I was paraphrasing...hence my lack of quotes. Sheesh! :)

So when you are standing on the elevator the lever is red? I have seen that message solo, but never had a problem getting into the Lair. Curious.

z00t,..Wait....elevator? There is no elevator. Its a bridge and the gate at the end of the bridge is down. As you go to cross the bridge it brings up a message.

Captain...ok how do I invite you to join the game?

I know what has happened here. I think op beat the Handsome dragon then save and quit at the start of the Lair of Infinite Agony. However, then they reloaded the character, the game reloaded them at the bottom near the fast travel. This broke the scripting, and they are now stuck because because the scripted events allowing them to progress have not been triggered.

What you need to do is to fast travel back to Hatred's Shadow, and run through it again (Don't worry, you dont have to fight the dragon again), re-enter the lair of infinte agony and trigger the scripted sequence. Then everything will be fine.

This happened to me once, and that's how i fixed it.

The OPs porblem is different than the one that I described. OP seems to run through Hatred's Shadow, then the fight with the Handosme Dragon doesn't seem to trigger on the bridge, thus leaving the gates into Lair of Infinite Agony shut.

Not sure what to suggest, except that the OP does the mission again in another player's co-op. That might work.

Issue sorted. Thread over. Unfortunately we don't actually know what the issue was, or how we fixed it....
